Description:

We are seeking an experienced and growth-oriented Technology Infrastructure Manager to lead and evolve our infrastructure, endpoint management, cloud services, and technology operations as our organization continues to expand through organic growth and strategic acquisitions. This role is ideal for a technology leader who combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication, vendor management, and team leadership skills.

As a firm of over 300 employees with an active M&A strategy, we are looking for someone who has experience supporting medium-sized organizations and managing outsourced technology providers (MSPs). The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring our infrastructure remains secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives while helping build the technology foundation for future growth.

Key Responsibilities

MSP Management & Technology Administration

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for our technology Managed Service Provider (MSP).
  • Manage Microsoft licensing and ensure appropriate licensing compliance and optimization.
  • Manage and optimize the organization's technology infrastructure, including cloud-based and hybrid environments.
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Intune, SharePoint Online, Entra ID (Azure AD), Teams, and Exchange Online.
  • Oversee endpoint management and device compliance through Microsoft Intune.
  • Ensure the availability, security, performance, and scalability of infrastructure services.
  • Work with our MSP to optimize the management of employee technology equipment, including procurement, deployment, inventory tracking, refresh planning, and retirement
  • Develop and maintain processes for onboarding and offboarding employees, ensuring that equipment and system access are managed effectively.
  • Partner with cybersecurity stakeholders to implement and maintain security controls, monitoring, patching, and vulnerability management processes.
  • Support audit, compliance, and risk management initiatives as needed to maintain our SOC 2 certification.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across infrastructure and technology operations.

Mergers & Acquisitions Integration

  • Assess infrastructure, security, applications, licensing, and technology risks associated with acquisition targets.
  • Develop and execute integration plans for newly acquired firms.
  • Coordinate technology consolidation efforts, including migrations, infrastructure standardization, tenant integration, endpoint transitions, and user onboarding.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive infrastructure, systems administration, or IT operations experience, preferably in the retirement or financial services industry.
  • Experience managing and partnering with Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365 technologies, including:
    • Microsoft Intune
    • SharePoint Online
    • Entra ID (Azure AD)
    • Microsoft Teams
    • Exchange Online
  • Experience managing Microsoft licensing and subscription environments.
  • Experience administering cloud infrastructure platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience managing endpoint security, patching, compliance, and device management.
  • Experience with hardware lifecycle management, asset management, and laptop inventory controls.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proactive problem solving and the ability to drive strategic results.
  • Able to balance competing priorities while maintaining a strong customer-service mindset.

Salary Range: $95,000 - $120,000 annually. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
