About the Job

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will manage customer conversations, build and maintain relationships, identify needs, and guide customers toward the right solutions. Your day will include a variety of inbound inquiries, quoting, follow-up, account support, and coordination with teammates to ensure customers receive clear and reliable service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships: Promptly respond to inbound enquiries, ask thoughtful questions to promptly understand customer requirements and efficiently manage both initial and revision quotes.
  • Manage follow-up: Maintain timely outreach, track conversations, and move opportunities through the sales process including monitoring payment status for upcoming bookings.
  • Maintain accuracy: Prepare accurate quotes, update customer records, document activity, and ensure order and account details are correct.
  • Support the team: Ensure timely confirmations to maximize lead time and ensure that both the customer and operations are informed and working toward a successful event.
  • Meeting goals: Consistently work toward activity, pipeline, sales, and customer-retention targets.
Requirements:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

What is required to perform the essential functions.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ Event Industry or Hospitality experience
  • Priority given to inside sales/account management experience
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Preferred experience with ERP/CRM programs

Education

Associates degree or higher preferred

Other Requirements, Knowledge, Skill, Ability or Characteristics

This position is also responsible for developing strategic working relationships with existing clients for the purpose of retention and revenue growth. The ideal candidate has a strong professional presence, is tenacious, and has ability to adapt, organize and multi-task. Knowledge of CRM maintenance preferred. Understands general reporting processes including expenses. Works well independently, Motivated, Strong Relationship-Building Skills, Belief in Excellence, Results Driven, Strong Planning Skills. High Ethical Behavior, Unquestionable Integrity, and Character.
