This is an opportunity to create high-impact visual experiences for a fast-growing fintech environment.
You’ll translate creative concepts into compelling digital, print, animation, and video assets across multiple channels.
Your work will contribute directly to campaigns, social media, web experiences, events, branches, and customer communications.
Working closely with senior design, marketing, agencies, and suppliers, you’ll help maintain a distinctive and consistent visual identity.
The role combines strong design craft with motion, storytelling, and experimentation with emerging creative technologies.
You’ll have meaningful ownership of projects, from initial concepts and creative development through feedback and final delivery.
The position is based in Cape Town and suits a creative professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Create high-quality graphics, animations, and video content for print, web, social media, campaigns, events, and other communication channels.
- Apply strong principles of typography, composition, layout, and brand styling to produce distinctive and recognizable creative assets.
- Translate concepts and briefs into engaging visual work that communicates clearly and connects with target audiences.
- Collaborate closely with senior design leadership, marketing teams, agencies, suppliers, and other creative partners to bring campaigns and projects to life.
- Own projects from initial concept through production and final delivery, incorporating feedback while maintaining creative quality and meeting deadlines.
- Ensure designs meet digital and print production best practices and are technically ready for their intended channels.
- Monitor design trends, emerging technologies, tools, and workflows, including opportunities to use AI to improve creativity and efficiency.
- Contribute ideas and creative perspectives that help strengthen the overall visual presence and effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Degree or professional certification in design, visual arts, video editing, animation, or a related discipline.
- At least 6 years of professional design experience, ideally covering both digital and traditional/print environments.
- A strong portfolio and showreel demonstrating versatility across static design, animation, motion graphics, and video.
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and a solid understanding of digital and print production processes.
- Excellent eye for typography, composition, visual hierarchy, layout, and consistent brand application.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high creative standards while working across multiple projects and deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with marketing teams, agencies, suppliers, and senior stakeholders.
- Creative problem-solving skills, curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to explore new tools and technologies.
- HTML5 animation and 3D experience, including tools such as Blender, would be an advantage.
- Based in Cape Town and able to work effectively in the required environment.
