Inframark is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Electrician – Journeyman to support electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair at water and wastewater treatment facilities and pump stations in the Hampton, VA area.
This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced electrician who enjoys working with industrial electrical systems, motor control centers (MCCs), variable frequency drives (VFDs), conduit, and electrical controls. You'll work alongside our instrumentation and controls teams to keep critical infrastructure operating safely and reliably.
Pay: $34.00–$45.00 per hour, depending on experience.

What You'll Do
As an Industrial Journeyman Electrician, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in an industrial environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Install and maintain conduit, wiring, MCCs, VFDs, and electrical panels
- Perform electrical installation and slab rough-ins
- Bend and install rigid conduit
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and plans
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, equipment, and controls
- Diagnose and repair electrical problems safely and efficiently
- Assist with electrical systems at water and wastewater treatment plants and pump stations
- Work closely with instrumentation and controls technicians
- Perform preventive maintenance and identify potential electrical issues
- Work independently and as part of a small field crew
- Follow OSHA, company, and site-specific safety requirements
- Properly use PPE and maintain a safe work environment
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of industrial electrical experience
- Valid Journeyman Electrician card or equivalent state-recognized credential/experience
- Experience installing and bending rigid conduit
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
- Experience with MCCs, VFDs, electrical panels, and industrial equipment
- Basic hand tools required for the position
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work safely in an industrial environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
