Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – SLPA Supervisor
Full-Time or Part-Time | School-Based | Connecticut
The Speech Pathology Group and Rehab Services of CT (SPGCT) is seeking an experienced, highly organized Speech-Language Pathologist to serve as an SLPA Supervisor for the school year.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced SLP who enjoys teaching, mentoring, problem-solving, and supporting the growth of other clinicians. The primary focus of this position will be supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) working within school settings, with the potential to provide additional supervision and support within our outpatient clinics.
What You'll Do
As an SLP Supervisor, you will:
Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to assigned SLPAs
Conduct direct and indirect supervision in accordance with Connecticut requirements
Review documentation, treatment plans, data collection, and clinical performance
Help SLPAs develop strong clinical reasoning and treatment skills
Provide feedback, coaching, modeling, and hands-on teaching
Collaborate with school teams, SPGCT leadership, and other SLPs
Help troubleshoot challenging cases and support appropriate treatment planning
Ensure supervision requirements and documentation are completed accurately and on time
Support consistency and quality of services across assigned school programs
Potentially supervise SLPAs working within SPGCT outpatient clinics
Who We're Looking For
Required:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current Connecticut SLP license
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing SLP
Experience working in school-based settings
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Ability to manage multiple clinicians, schedules, and supervision requirements
