Yoga Instructor - Urgently Hiring in Fargo, North Dakota at Family Wellness LLC

Position Purpose:

We are looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable, and authentic yoga instructor who has a passion for guiding others. The ideal candidate will be comfortable teaching participants with a variety of experience levels and abilities. Candidates should have a strong understanding of yoga principles, movement, breathwork, alignment, modifications, and safe teaching practices. Strong communication skills, confidence when leading a group and the ability to create a welcoming and non-intimidating environment are essential.

Job Specific Competencies:

· Strong understanding of yoga principles, postures, sequencing, breathwork, mindfulness, and relaxation techniques.

· Ability to develop purposeful, balanced, and appropriately paced classes that align with the intended class format and participant needs.

· Experience teaching proper alignment, movement patterns, and transitions while prioritizing participant safety.

· Ability to provide modifications, progressions, and alternatives for varying experience levels, abilities, and physical needs.

· Must be able to provide clear, concise, and timely instruction and demonstrations.

· Confidently lead a group while creating a calm, organized, and supportive environment.

· Ability to create an atmosphere that encourages relaxation, self-awareness, breath awareness, and mindful movement while connecting with participants to create a welcoming, inclusive, and non-intimidating experience.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide encouragement and appropriate feedback.

· Demonstrates punctuality, preparedness, dependability, and professional conduct.

· Ability to adjust class pacing, sequencing, instruction, and intensity based on participant needs and class dynamics.

· Maintains an organized studio and properly use and care for yoga equipment.

· Collaborates with Group Fitness instructors, staff, and other wellness professionals.

· Commitment to ongoing education and development of yoga knowledge, teaching skills, and safe movement practices.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education, Experience, & Skills (Minimum Requirement):

Must have completed a 200-hour yoga training and certification.

Licensure/Certification Requirement(s):

· CPR/AED certification required upon hire or obtained within three (3) months of hire.
