Account Manager Supplements

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Account Manager Supplements in the United States.

This role focuses on driving growth within the nutritional supplements and functional ingredients space across the North American market. You will act as a key commercial point of contact for strategic accounts, developing long-term partnerships with supplement brand owners, manufacturers, and distributors. The position combines account management, business development, and strategic market expansion, requiring both commercial acumen and strong industry knowledge. You will identify new opportunities, shape go-to-market strategies, and help bring innovative health and nutrition solutions to market. Working in a highly collaborative, global environment, you will partner closely with scientific, regulatory, marketing, and product teams. This is a high-impact role where your efforts directly contribute to expanding a clinically backed health portfolio. The environment is dynamic, entrepreneurial, and strongly focused on innovation and customer success.

Accountabilities:
  • Serve as the primary commercial lead for ProActive Health (PAH) accounts across the North American supplements market
  • Develop and execute strategic go-to-market plans targeting key supplement brands, manufacturers, and partners
  • Identify, prioritize, and grow a pipeline of high-value accounts, driving new business opportunities and market expansion
  • Manage full opportunity lifecycle, including prospecting, negotiation, account development, and long-term relationship management
  • Collaborate with distributors and internal sales teams to support pipeline growth and revenue performance
  • Build strong customer partnerships and scientific alliances to support product innovation and market positioning
  • Work closely with marketing, regulatory, product, and scientific teams to align customer needs with solution development
  • Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and workshops to strengthen thought leadership and brand presence
  • Track performance metrics, manage budgets, and report on commercial progress across the NAMER PAH portfolio
  • Contribute to market intelligence, identifying trends, unmet needs, and new product opportunities
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in commercial roles within nutritional supplements, functional ingredients, or related food and nutrition industries
  • Strong track record in business development, account management, and launching or scaling new products
  • Deep understanding of the nutritional supplements market, including technologies, regulatory frameworks, and industry dynamics
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and industry partners
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles, including strategic account planning and negotiation
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong results orientation and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, regulatory, and scientific teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the region
