Civil Design Engineer (Los Angeles, CA) in Los Angeles, California at Cannon Corp

• Design and prepare drawings for pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, hydraulic structures, water/wastewater treatment facilities, storm drains, sanitary sewer and water lines.
• Perform calculations for basic earthwork, drainage, and grading and/or structural analysis.
• Coordinates with representatives of agencies, utility companies, vendors, material suppliers and contractors to obtain information and guidance.
• Provide field observation and reports.
• Updates the project manager of progress of work and informs him/her of problems and questions.
• Work closely with team members to gain understanding of project requirements and tasks as well as office procedures, policies, and guidelines.
• Compiles with company drawing preparation standards.
• Prepare opinions of probable cost of construction in company standard format.

Requires bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Environmental Engineering or closely related + 2 years of experience or master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Environmental Engineering or closely related. $98,946.00/yr, + Benefits.
