Help Preserve a Montana Landmark
Every cabin repaired, trail maintained, light replaced, and snow cleared helps create the guest experience that Lone Mountain Ranch is known for. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll work across the Ranch to help keep our historic property safe, functional, and beautiful for both guests and employees.
No two days are exactly alike. One day you may be repairing a guest cabin, the next troubleshooting equipment, maintaining vehicles, assisting with seasonal projects, or preparing the property for changing weather. What You'll DoAs a Maintenance Technician, you'll help maintain the Ranch's buildings, equipment, grounds, and infrastructure by:
- Performing general maintenance and repairs throughout the property
- Completing work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Assisting with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, and general building repairs within your level of experience
- Maintaining guest cabins, employee housing, public spaces, restaurants, offices, and operational facilities
- Assisting with preventative maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime
- Helping maintain Ranch vehicles, tools, equipment, and utility systems
- Supporting seasonal projects, renovations, and property improvements
- Assisting with snow removal, ice mitigation, and other weather-related property needs
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Responding to maintenance requests with professionalism and a guest-focused mindset
- Working collaboratively with other departments to support Ranch operations
- Following all safety procedures and helping identify opportunities to improve workplace safet

We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous maintenance, facilities, construction, or building trades experience preferred
- Working knowledge of general maintenance practices and basic repair techniques
- Experience safely operating hand and power tools
- Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate solutions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks throughout the day
- A commitment to workplace safety
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely operate Ranch vehicles and equipment after trainin
This position regularly requires the ability to:
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Stand, walk, climb ladders, kneel, crouch, bend, and work in confined spaces
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including snow, rain, heat, and cold
- Safely operate tools, equipment, and Ranch vehicles
- Work weekends, evenings, holidays, and overtime as operational needs require
