Kitchen Supervisor
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our dynamic culinary team and ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen. A minimum of 3 years in a kitchen management position is mandatory. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to lead various kitchen stations, including grill, sauté, fry, pantry, and bakery. Experience in wood fire grilling is mandatory. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily kitchen operations across multiple stations, including grill, sauté, fry, pantry, and bakery
- Lead staff development through training, coaching, and performance evaluations
- Oversee ordering and inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with all health department regulations
- Schedule kitchen staff to ensure proper coverage during peak hours and special events
- Monitor food quality and presentation to uphold our brand standards
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and food handling procedures
- Collaborate with management on menu planning and special projects
- Work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and nights, as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a kitchen management role, with extensive knowledge of various kitchen stations
- Mandatory experience with wood fire grill cooking
- Strong leadership and staff management skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food safety standards
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
