Job Description

Location: Must Live in the New England Region

Salary: 130K to 150K range/ Bonus/Incentive package

A strong and solid background in professional Business Development in the Contract Dining Services Industry is a MUST. This includes large institutional dining settings such as a University, College, Hospital, Continuing Care Retirement Centers, or Senior Living Center.

From your remote office base, you will research and analyze productive business opportunities and arrange to meet with potential business partners throughout your assigned region. Candidates MUST reside in the New England Region.


Metz Culinary Management is growing and we have an opening for a Dynamic Director of Business Development with a strong Contract Dining Services background who will share and reinforce our culture, values and attributes creating an environment for personal growth, enrichment and career success.

The Director of Business Development's primary role will be to serve as an Ambassador and Champion of the company brand, growing revenue through Client Acquisition. The Director will be dedicated to the implementation of a successful sales strategy and execution of the full cycle business development process. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Research and analyses of new business opportunities and client pools
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and marketing plans
  • Work closely with Contracting, Legal and Finance to develop proposals
  • Prepare and present captivating, and unprecedented presentations to Clients and C-Level Associates
  • Utilize technology to develop captivating presentations using graphs, charts and pivot tables to prove the value of our brand
  • Convey the strategic focus, values and attributes through impeccable communication skills
  • Follow through and conduct negotiations
  • Be prepared to provide statistics and complex business models

Requirements:

  • 10 Years of Solid Food Service Management Sales Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Hospitality or similar
  • Experience as a Director or High Level Project Manager in Sales
  • Solid Technology and Computer Applications to include Microsoft Suite
  • Exceptional Communication skills, written and verbal
  • Requires Extensive Travel
