Epic Radiant Team Lead

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Epic Radiant Team Lead based in the United States.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an experienced Epic Radiant professional supporting a complex healthcare environment.
You’ll provide day-to-day direction to an established application team while serving as a trusted escalation point for complex Radiant challenges.
The role combines technical expertise, team leadership, stakeholder partnership, and hands-on application support.
You’ll help prioritize work, guide projects and enhancements, and keep critical initiatives moving efficiently.
Working closely with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders, you’ll translate business needs into effective Epic solutions.
The position offers the opportunity to bring stability, mentorship, and continuous improvement to an established environment.
This is a fully remote role with limited travel, offering meaningful impact within healthcare technology.

Accountabilities
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and prioritization for an Epic Radiant application team.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex Epic Radiant issues, troubleshooting challenges and driving timely resolution.
  • Coordinate team workload, projects, enhancements, ongoing support, and competing priorities to maintain momentum and delivery quality.
  • Partner with clinical, operational, technical, and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective Epic Radiant solutions.
  • Mentor and guide analysts while promoting accountability, collaboration, professional development, and high-quality execution.
  • Support the full Epic Radiant application lifecycle, including planning, design, build, testing, implementation, optimization, and maintenance.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, gaps, and barriers within the application environment and proactively drive issues toward resolution.
  • Assess the existing environment quickly and help establish priorities, processes, and effective working relationships with minimal ramp-up time.
  • Ensure application work aligns with organizational standards, clinical needs, operational priorities, and quality expectations.
  • Communicate progress, priorities, risks, and challenges clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Remain hands-on when needed, providing technical expertise and practical support to the team.
Requirements
  • Current Epic Radiant certification is required.
  • Strong hands-on experience supporting, implementing, and/or optimizing Epic Radiant.
  • Previous experience as a team lead, application lead, senior Radiant analyst, or comparable role involving responsibility for guiding the work of other analysts.
  • Strong understanding of radiology workflows and the operational processes supported by Epic Radiant.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and complex initiatives within a healthcare environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to independently take ownership of issues and drive them to completion.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical, operational, technical, and IT leaders.
  • Ability to quickly understand an established environment, build trusted relationships, and provide effective leadership with minimal onboarding.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and flexible working style, with a willingness to remain technically engaged when required.
  • Consulting experience is a plus.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
