Global Treasury Assistant - Fixed Term Contract

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Global Treasury Assistant - Fixed Term Contract based in India.

This role supports a strategic global treasury initiative focused on effective bank account management across multiple countries and banking partners.
You will contribute to reconciliations, account transitions, and the opening and closure of bank accounts.
The position offers broad exposure to Treasury, Finance, Tax, and external banking stakeholders in an international environment.
You will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial data and keeping project activities aligned with agreed timelines.
The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and confidence in identifying and resolving discrepancies.
It is well suited to someone who enjoys structured project work, international collaboration, and taking ownership of multiple priorities.
This is a fixed-term opportunity offering valuable experience in global treasury operations and banking processes.

Accountabilities
  • Perform and coordinate bank account reconciliations, ensuring financial data is complete, accurate, and properly documented.
  • Support bank account transitions across different banking providers and countries, including coordinating account openings and closures.
  • Track project milestones, timelines, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure activities remain on schedule.
  • Identify potential risks, issues, and project roadblocks, communicating and escalating them promptly to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Review and validate treasury and banking data, investigate inconsistencies, challenge incomplete information, and drive issues toward resolution.
  • Coordinate activities with banks, external partners, and internal stakeholders across Treasury, Finance, and Tax.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, status updates, records, and reporting throughout the lifecycle of the initiative.
  • Manage multiple workstreams and priorities independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and meeting agreed deadlines.
  • Contribute proactively to improving project execution, data quality, and coordination across international banking activities.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in Treasury, Finance, Banking Operations, or a related financial services environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to work confidently with financial and operational data.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy and completeness.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage with senior internal stakeholders and external banking contacts.
  • A proactive and resilient approach to problem-solving, including the ability to question data, challenge assumptions, and drive resolution.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver against deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment with limited supervision.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across Treasury, Finance, Tax, banking partners, and other teams.
  • Willingness and availability to work under a fixed-term contract arrangement.
