Job Description

Who we are?

InfoTrack is a leading SaaS technology innovator that is helping a range of professionals, businesses and individuals in a digital age. We care about what we do and the people we work with. We partner with our clients to identify their challenges and constantly look for ways to evolve our products to maximise their impact.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to take ownership of the monthly reporting for InfoTrack’s ANZ subsidiaries. This role is responsible for month-end reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, the preparation of monthly management reports, and assisting with indirect tax compliance and reporting (BAS & FBT), R&D returns and the annual financial audit.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Senior Financial Accountant will partner with a range of stakeholders, including senior management, the FP&A, Group Reporting and Finance Shared Services teams, and external parties.

About you

You’re a highly organised, detail-oriented accountant with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of the business drivers behind the numbers. You communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels, take ownership of your deadlines, and handle confidential information with integrity and discretion. You’re self-motivated and flexible, enjoy challenging work, and bring a continuous improvement mindset to a high-performing, collaborative team.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prepare the operating subsidiaries’ monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and supporting reconciliations by the 5th working day of each month.
  • Prepare monthly subsidiary management accounts, comparing actual results to budget and providing variance analysis.
  • Prepare monthly BAS and annual FBT returns.
  • Assist with the preparation and lodgement of the annual R&D Tax Incentive claim.
  • Assist the FP&A team with subsidiary budgeting and co-ordinate the subsidiary budget with the management team.
  • Assist the Group Reporting team with year-end audit requirements.
  • Work with the Finance Shared Services team to ensure subsidiary A/P, A/R and payroll are processed accurately and on time.
  • Monitor, enhance and develop financial processes for continued improvement, including the adoption of AI-driven initiatives.
  • Lead and complete special projects as required.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in accounting.
  • CPA/CA qualified, with 3+ years’ post-qualification experience.
  • Proven track record in a similar role, ideally with a background in a mid-tier or Big 4 chartered accounting firm.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards, audit requirements, statutory accounts preparation, taxation and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise with staff and stakeholders at all levels, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with NetSuite is strongly preferred.
