Environmental Services Tech in Washington, Indiana at Daviess Community Hospital

Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Hours: 40 Hours/Week

**This position requires every other weekend and holiday.

The Environmental Services Technician ensures routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators and stairways stay clean, neat and sanitary. This role can be located at the hospital or clinics.

• Experience cleaning in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Driver’s license required for clinic staff.
• Able to communicate effectively, in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Additional languages preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Knowledge of applicable cleaning equipment, supplies, and chemicals.
• Understands HIPAA compliance.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task.
• Effective communication skills with all staff, guests, and patients.
