What You’ll Do

As an Automotive Technician I in one of our retail tire centers, you’ll help keep our customers rolling safely by:

• Mounting and balancing passenger car and light truck tires.

• Performing oil and filter changes using the correct vehicle specifications.

• Properly torquing wheels and checking tire pressure.

• Resetting tire pressure monitoring systems.

• Inspecting and repairing flat tires.

• Helping keep the shop and grounds clean, organized, and safe.

• Following Tire Industry Association (TIA) safety procedures.

• Supporting your teammates and completing other duties assigned by the store manager.

What You’ll Bring

• One to two years of experience in the tire or automotive industry.

• A valid driver’s license.

• Your own basic tools.

• A dependable work ethic and attention to detail.

• A positive attitude and willingness to pitch in.

• Clear, courteous communication with customers and coworkers.

• A commitment to safety, honesty, and quality service.

Basic TIA Tire Service Certification is preferred.

A Little About the Work

This is an active, hands-on position in a busy automotive shop. Essential duties include regularly lifting and carrying approximately 25–50 pounds; standing, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching; pushing or pulling equipment; and safely operating shop machinery. Work may involve exposure to heat, cold, and tight work areas. Essential functions may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
