Senior Financial Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst based in the United States.

This role offers an opportunity to contribute to financial planning and strategic decision-making within a complex, growing organization.
You will join an Operations Finance team and work closely with senior finance and business leaders.
The position combines FP&A, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
You will turn financial data into actionable insights that help leadership understand performance and make informed decisions.
The role also provides exposure to acquisitions, including due diligence, valuation, and integration activities.
Success will require strong analytical thinking, business judgment, ownership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
This is a remote position with occasional travel and in-person work sessions several times per year.

Accountabilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models, reports, and analyses that support finance and executive leadership decision-making.
  • Analyze financial results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve business performance.
  • Prepare financial performance reporting and presentation materials for recurring leadership and executive reviews.
  • Own and coordinate the annual budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with finance and operations partners.
  • Provide detailed decision support by interpreting financial information and translating analysis into practical business recommendations.
  • Support acquisition activities, including financial due diligence, valuation analysis, integration planning, and related workstreams.
  • Partner with senior finance leaders on special projects, ad hoc analyses, and strategic business requests.
  • Identify and implement improvements to financial systems, processes, reporting, and analytical workflows to strengthen the finance function.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across functions and organizational levels to gather information, resolve complex issues, and deliver accurate analysis.
  • Occasionally travel, expected to be less than 5%, and attend in-person work sessions or meetings approximately three to four times per year in designated U.S. locations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or another quantitative discipline; a Master’s degree, MBA, or CPA qualification is a plus.
  • 4–6+ years of experience in a similar finance, FP&A, or financial analysis role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate complex financial information, identify key trends, establish facts, and draw sound conclusions.
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, including due diligence, valuation, or integration activities, is highly valuable.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to go beyond reporting results by interpreting their implications and making recommendations aligned with broader business objectives.
  • Experience working with ERP financial systems such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics 365 and enterprise planning platforms such as Board International.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Copilot.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines independently.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to present complex financial topics clearly and concisely to executive audiences.
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working through ambiguity while taking ownership of processes from start to finish.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build effective relationships with employees, senior leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. The position is remote, with eligibility varying by state.
Benefits
  • Annual salary range of $75,000–$85,000 USD, with final compensation determined by location, experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors.
  • Remote work opportunity across eligible U.S. states.
  • Health care plans with prescription drug coverage.
  • Dental and vision insurance.
  • Basic and supplemental life insurance.
  • Flexible Spending Account options for medical and dependent care expenses or a Health Savings Account, depending on plan selection.
  • Short- and long-term disability coverage.
  • 401(k) savings plan.
  • Opportunities to participate in strategic projects, acquisitions, and executive-level financial decision-making.
  • Occasional in-person team sessions and limited business travel.
