Job Description

DSNP Licensed Healthcare Agent

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a DSNP Licensed Healthcare Agent based in the United States.

This is a remote, customer-focused opportunity for an experienced and licensed Medicare professional supporting individuals eligible for Dual Special Needs Plans (DSNP).
You will use consultative telesales conversations to help prospective members understand Medicare and Medicaid coverage options.
The role combines healthcare education, enrollment support, and sales while emphasizing trust, clarity, accuracy, and empathy.
You’ll engage with prospects through inbound and outbound calls and guide them through what can be a complex benefits and eligibility process.
Success requires strong communication, comfort with technology, and the ability to balance member needs with performance expectations.
The position is seasonal and particularly active during the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP), with opportunities for strong performers to continue based on business needs.
You’ll receive paid training, certification support, and the flexibility of working from a home-based environment.

Accountabilities
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls with prospective DSNP Medicare members, providing education, sales guidance, and enrollment assistance.
  • Explain Dual Special Needs Plan options clearly, including relevant Medicare and Medicaid benefits, eligibility requirements, and coverage considerations.
  • Guide prospective members through the enrollment process while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, empathy, and a service-first approach.
  • Build trust with individuals who may be navigating complex healthcare coverage decisions and provide a supportive, consultative experience.
  • Meet established performance expectations related to sales goals, conversion rates, call quality, productivity, and schedule adherence.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with supervisors and team members regarding activities, questions, and performance.
  • Participate in required team meetings, coaching sessions, training, and continuing development throughout the season.
  • Work effectively across multiple software systems and maintain accurate information while handling customer interactions.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and maintain a consistent level of service during high-volume enrollment periods.
Requirements
  • Active Health or Health & Life insurance license required.
  • At least 1 year of Medicare experience required, with familiarity with DSNP products strongly preferred.
  • Previous telesales or contact center experience is an advantage.
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills, with the ability to explain complex healthcare concepts in an accessible way.
  • Service-oriented mindset with the ability to build rapport, demonstrate empathy, and establish trust during customer conversations.
  • Comfortable working across multiple software platforms with solid basic computer and technology skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards.
  • Willingness to work a production schedule that includes at least one weekend day per week during AEP.
  • Ability to complete required background screening.
  • Reliable home-office setup that meets the requirements for remote work.
  • Strong attention to detail, professionalism, adaptability, and ability to perform effectively in a seasonal, high-volume environment.
Benefits
  • Base pay: $18.00 per hour.
  • Seasonal incentives: Opportunities to earn additional seasonal incentives based on applicable performance programs.
  • Paid training: Structured training provided to prepare you for the role.
  • AHIP certification: Certification costs covered.
  • Licensing support: Non-resident licenses and renewals covered where applicable.
  • Continuing education: Opportunities to earn continuing education credits.
  • Remote work: Fully work-from-home position.
  • Seasonal opportunity: Role runs through the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) and Open Enrollment Period (OEP), with potential for extended opportunities for high-performing agents depending on client needs.
  • Career development: Exposure to Medicare, DSNP healthcare solutions, consultative sales, and customer support in a specialized environment.
