Job Description
- Prep parts for coating (cleaning, sanding, masking, and inspecting surfaces)
- Apply powder coating using spray equipment similar to automotive paint guns
- Ensure smooth, even coverage and high-quality finish standards
- Operate curing ovens to properly set coatings
- Inspect finished parts for quality, consistency, and appearance
- Maintain equipment, spray booths, and a clean work area
- Follow all safety and PPE guidelines
- Experience in automotive painting, body shop work, or industrial coating preferred
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality finishes
- Familiarity with spray equipment and surface prep techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as part of regular job duties
· Ability to read small print and visually inspect detailed components
· Must be able to perform essential job functions that require visual acuity, with or without reasonable accommodation
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Ability to safely use manual and powered hand tools
