This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior QA Analyst in Brazil.
This role is part of a highly collaborative and fast-paced technology environment where quality is at the center of product delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and functionality of complex digital solutions across multiple squads. Working closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders, you will help define test strategies, identify risks early, and ensure high-quality releases. The position combines hands-on automation work with strategic quality engineering, covering both functional and non-functional testing. You will contribute to scalable testing frameworks, continuous integration pipelines, and data-driven quality processes. - Design, develop, and execute functional, regression, and exploratory test cases across multiple projects and squads
- Define acceptance criteria based on business requirements and ensure full test coverage of user stories
- Develop and maintain backend test automation frameworks, with strong focus on API and service-level testing
- Generate and manage test data, as well as evidence and reporting for manual and automated test executions
- Collaborate in agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban) to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and version control practices for automated testing solutions
- Perform both functional and non-functional testing, including performance testing when required
- Identify defects, document results, and communicate risks and quality insights to stakeholders
- Strong experience in QA automation, especially backend testing
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Karate (strong requirement), Cypress, Newman, Appium, or similar
- Experience designing test cases, validating results, and generating execution evidence
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and workflow management tools like Jira
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Experience with relational databases and ability to validate data integrity
- Knowledge of non-functional testing tools such as JMeter or K6
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
