Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable and motivated Kia Lube Technician to join our service team. This entry-level position is responsible for performing routine maintenance services, conducting multi-point vehicle inspections, and assisting certified technicians in delivering quality repairs. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is committed to providing exceptional customer service while maintaining Kia's high standards.

Requirements:

Job Responsibilities

· Perform routine maintenance services, including oil and filter changes, tire rotations, battery testing, fluid checks, and replacement of cabin and engine air filters.

· Complete Kia multi-point vehicle inspections and accurately document findings.

· Inspect tire condition, tread depth, and air pressure.

· Check and top off all vehicle fluids according to Kia specifications.

· Replace windshield wiper blades and perform other basic maintenance services.

· Maintain accurate repair orders and document completed work.

· Identify maintenance needs and communicate recommendations to the service advisor.

· Assist certified technicians with vehicle repairs and shop operations as needed.

· Follow all Kia service procedures and manufacturer guidelines.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

· Properly use and maintain shop equipment and tools.

· Comply with dealership safety policies and OSHA regulations.

· Participate in ongoing training and pursue Kia certification opportunities.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED preferred.

· Previous automotive maintenance experience is preferred but not required.

· Technical school or automotive training is a plus.

· Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

· Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.

· Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

This position is performed primarily in an automotive service shop and requires frequent standing, lifting, and working around moving vehicles and automotive equipment. This position requires the ability to safely operate vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions. Additionally, this position requires the individual is comfortable working in varying weather conditions and shop environments.
