To prepare loan documents, collect compliant documentation, perfect collateral liens, and disburse loan funds in a manner that reflects Centric’s commitment to Stewardship, Engagement, strong Relationships, Vision, and Energy. This position plays a critical role in safeguarding the credit union’s assets while delivering an accurate, timely, and positive lending experience for members.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
  • 60% Processes and prepares loan documents for approved loans, coordinating closing dates and disbursements with a focus on Stewardship by ensuring accuracy, compliance, and protection of members’ financial futures.
  • 20% Perfects collateral liens in a timely and compliant manner, demonstrating responsible oversight and attention to detail that supports Centric’s long-term Vision and risk management objectives.
  • 15% Files loan documents with appropriate agencies, ensuring regulatory compliance and reinforcing Centric’s commitment to operational excellence.
  • 5% Performs other related duties as assigned, approaching all responsibilities with Energy, adaptability, and a member-first mindset.

Performance Measurements:
  1. Maintains a dependable record of attendance and timeliness, demonstrating Energy and accountability.
  2. Provides friendly, professional, and personalized SERVICE, greeting members by name and fostering meaningful Relationships.
  3. Handles all aspects of GAP and Extended Warranty processing after loan closing, ensuring a seamless and positive member experience.
  4. Maintains audit exceptions from internal and CPA reviews at a minimum, reflecting strong Stewardship and compliance discipline.
  5. Ensures no approved loans exceed 20 days from closing date in queue, supporting efficiency and member satisfaction.
  6. Reviews and audits loan folders and paperwork from Loan Officers to ensure all data is accurate and complete, protecting both the member and the credit union.
  7. Ensures all loan data entry is completed with zero errors, upholding Centric’s high standard of quality and integrity.
  8. Tracks outstanding title paperwork to ensure timely perfection of collateral liens, supporting long-term asset protection and risk mitigation.
  9. Processes disbursements including, but not limited to, mailing payoffs, posting payoffs, and posting deposits, with precision and professionalism.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience One to three years of similar or related experience, preferably in a financial services environment.

Education A high school education or GED required.

Interpersonal Skills Work involves interaction with individuals beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters, requiring clear communication, collaboration, and courtesy.
Outside contacts include members and vendors, necessitating positive engagement, professionalism, and relationship-building consistent with Centric’s Core Values.

Other Skills

Must have good communication skills. Ten key calculator, typewriter and keyboard skills.
