This role supports financial operations across multiple manufacturing plants in the United States.
You will take ownership of manufacturing accounting activities, including product costing, inventory accounting, and monthly close.
The position combines detailed financial analysis with forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and operational business partnering.
You will work closely with Operations and Supply Chain teams to understand performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support informed decisions.
The role also contributes to standard costing, variance analysis, inventory controls, audits, and ERP improvements.
Success requires strong analytical judgment, financial acumen, attention to accuracy, and the ability to communicate effectively across functions.

• Manage monthly financial close activities associated with manufacturing operations across multiple plants, ensuring timely and accurate accounting and reporting.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory balances, production variances, and operational performance to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain standard costing processes and support annual cost updates, ensuring costing information accurately reflects manufacturing activities and business requirements.
• Prepare financial reports, forecasts, budgets, performance analyses, and other management information to support operational and financial decision-making.
• Reconcile inventory accounts and support physical inventory counts, investigating discrepancies and maintaining appropriate accounting records and controls.
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to evaluate manufacturing performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, audit requirements, and applicable financial procedures.
• Support ERP system enhancements and process improvement initiatives designed to strengthen financial reporting, accounting efficiency, and operational visibility.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a CPA designation or progress toward CPA considered an advantage.
• At least five years of accounting or finance experience within a manufacturing environment, with strong exposure to manufacturing accounting processes.
• Solid understanding of inventory accounting, standard costing, manufacturing cost analysis, and production variance analysis.
• Experience working with ERP systems is required; SAP S/4HANA experience is preferred.
• Advanced Excel capabilities and strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial and operational data and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Strong business and financial acumen, combined with a results-oriented approach and a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving abilities, with the confidence to partner effectively across Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and other functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining attention to detail and meeting reporting deadlines.

• Full-time, salaried position with a remote work arrangement in the United States.
• Base salary of $85,000–$95,000, depending on work location, experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors.
• Eligibility for a bonus in addition to base salary.
