The Opportunity
Institutes of Health is seeking a full time Physical Therapist to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team in Anaheim. This role is well suited for a clinician who enjoys treating complex conditions and collaborating closely with psychology, medicine, behavioral health, and other rehabilitation disciplines. You will provide individualized and group based care to patients experiencing chronic pain, traumatic brain injury, post concussive symptoms, PTSD, and functional limitations.

What You’ll Do
● Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care consistent with clinical findings, patient goals, and program needs.
● Provide evidence informed physical therapy interventions, therapeutic exercise, functional training, and movement based rehabilitation.
● Help patients improve strength, mobility, endurance, balance, coordination, and confidence with activity.
● Support patients with chronic pain, traumatic brain injury, post concussive conditions, vestibular symptoms, trauma related symptoms, and other complex functional needs.
● Lead or participate in individual and group based treatment sessions.
● Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, physical therapist assistants, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
● Contribute to coordinated treatment planning and communicate patient progress, barriers, and recommendations.
● Provide patient education that supports safe activity, self management, and participation in daily life.
● Complete timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
● Participate in team meetings, case discussions and program development activities.

What You Bring to the Table:
● Educational & Licensure Requirements: A graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited physical therapy program. A valid California State Physical Therapy License in good standing is required.
● Ability to practice within applicable California laws, regulations, and professional standards.
● Strong clinical judgment, communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
● Ability to work onsite at the Anaheim clinic on a full time schedule.
● Certifications: CPR certification is preferred.

● Preferred Experience: Background in workers’ compensation, bilingual proficiency in
Spanish, and/or expertise in vestibular, post-concussive, and traumatic brain injury (TBI) rehabilitation is highly valued.
