Youth Volleyball Staff in Fargo, North Dakota at Fargo Park District

Individuals are needed to instruct girls in grades 3-6. Coaches are needed Mon, Tues and Thurs from 5:00PM to 7:00PM October-November. The Youth Volleyball Coach provides instruction, leadership, and encouragement to youth athletes in a safe and positive environment. Coaches teach volleyball fundamentals, foster teamwork and sportsmanship, and help participants develop confidence, skills, and a lifelong enjoyment of the game.

Individual must be at least 16 years of age.

• Plan and conduct organized, age-appropriate practices and activities.
• Teach fundamental volleyball skills, including serving, passing, setting, hitting, blocking, and court positioning.
• Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere where all participants are encouraged to learn and improve.
• Promote sportsmanship, respect, teamwork, and responsible behavior.
• Supervise participants during practices, games, and team activities.
• Follow league rules, organizational policies, and safety guidelines.
• Manage games, player rotations, and participation opportunities in accordance with program standards.
• Communicate effectively with parents, participants, and program staff regarding schedules, expectations, and team information.
• Report injuries, incidents, and concerns to the Youth Volleyball Coordinator.
• Assist with equipment setup, care, and storage.
• Serve as a positive role model for youth participants.
