MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a PKI Registration Authority (RA), the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the USHQDA at Fort Huachuca, AZ:
You will provide Registration Authority support to Fort Huachuca, Arizona, NETCOM PKI operations. Support development and updating of plans and procedures as required in support of USHQDA PKI initiatives. Support of PKI tools in all network environments which provides PKI procedures to ensure successful execution.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
The likely salary range for this position is $66,560 - $89,700. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

As a PKI Registration Authority (RA), the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the USHQDA at Fort Huachuca, AZ:
You will provide Registration Authority support to Fort Huachuca, Arizona, NETCOM PKI operations. Support development and updating of plans and procedures as required in support of USHQDA PKI initiatives. Support of PKI tools in all network environments which provides PKI procedures to ensure successful execution.
- Provide critical knowledge and guidance for PKI RA policy, procedures, and best practices to remote LRA/RA personnel and their Trusted Agents.
- Provide PKI token and certificate registration, revocation, key recovery support for the Army Networks as an RA and KRA for both NIPR and SIPR requirements.
- Manage production and issuance NEATS and SIPR PKI Tokens using appropriate applications and peripherals provided by the Government; Provide general administrative support to the execution of PKI logistics activities (i.e. controlled distribution of NIPR ALT and SIPR tokens).
- Maintain support for creation and removal of Trusted Agents (TA); Assist in the execution of TA and end user PKI training; and provide PKI solutions from HQDA NETCOM and remote LRA/RA personnel and their TAs for PKI certificate issues.
- Utilize the central repository of PKI records specified by the Government, to include records required to establish the validity of a signature and the proper operation of the PKI as specified in the Department of War (Dow) PKI Certificate Policy; maintain a daily physical logbook consisting of all RA certificate activities as specified in the DoW LRA/RA
- Certificate Practice Statements (CPS)/NSS Registration Practice Statement (RPS), and Department of the Army Pamphlet (DA PAM) 25-2-13.
- Be well versed and able to speak to Army and DoD PKI RA standards, practices, and policies, including what is required to stay in PKI security compliance.
- Perform metric collection and reporting on selected activities directed by the Government. Shall maintain a daily log of user assistance calls, NIPR and SIPR token and Alternate token certificate issuance, revocations and other miscellaneous RA tasks, to be incorporated into a monthly status report.
- Prepare and analyze data provided to the contract leadership and PKI Task Lead for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
- Perform operational beta testing of new tokens versions, PKI applications, and systems for certificate issuance and token reuse capabilities.
- Maintain and update required PKI document templates for various certificate issuance, revocation, and key recover actions in appropriate existing or future SharePoint lists/databases.
- Resolve customer issues related to PKI certificate use through basic PKI troubleshooting.
- Coordinate and communicate PKI token/certificate issuance operations with over 3800 Trusted Agents, dozens of commands throughout the US Army, Joint Services, and various regional commands throughout the AOR for NIPR and SIPR Token Issuance,
- Support, plan, and prepare for full annual compliance audit tasks and checks.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Bring your technical expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. Our PKI Registration Authority must have:
- Required Security Clearance Level: Active Secret clearance
- Required Experience: 5+ years of experience working in Information Technology, this should preferably include experience working with DOD Public Key Infrastructure certificates; 3+ years of experience on an IT service helpdesk.
- Required Certifications: Security+ CE
- Education: BS degree. Additional years of work experience in IT may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Work Location: Fort Huachuca, Arizona
- Must be willing to work shift Monday-Friday 6AM-2PM
