WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE in NEW HYDE PARK, New York at Day & Nite Air Conditioning Service Corp

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to receiving, storing, and shipping goods in a warehouse setting. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth operations and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory and parts for jobs.

• Label and organize products in the warehouse according to company standards.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure products are properly tracked.

• Assist with stock audits and inventory reconciliation.

• Ensure a clean and safe warehouse environment by following safety procedures.

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.

• Pick and organize jobs to go out according to daily schedule.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse inventory management role is preferred

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand for extended periods

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Ability to operate warehouse machinery (training provided if necessary)

• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting

• Previous forklift operator experience a plus- will provide certification and training if needed
