This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Quality Assurance Pleno (QA) based in Brazil.
This role is an opportunity for a detail-oriented QA professional to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable software products in a fast-paced tech environment. You will be responsible for defining and executing testing strategies that validate both functional and technical aspects of applications, contributing directly to the stability and user experience of digital products. Working closely with development teams, you will play a key role in identifying issues early, improving processes, and ensuring continuous quality across releases. The environment is collaborative and agile, where autonomy and ownership are encouraged. You will also contribute to automation efforts and help strengthen test coverage across APIs, integrations, and user interfaces. This is a hands-on role where your work directly impacts product reliability and customer satisfaction.
- Design, define, and execute test plans and test cases to ensure software quality across different stages of development.
- Perform manual and automated testing to validate application functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle, ensuring proper follow-up and resolution.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to analyze issues, reproduce bugs, and support root cause analysis.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using modern frameworks such as Cypress.
- Conduct API testing, integration testing, and acceptance testing to ensure system consistency and robustness.
- Work with SQL databases to validate data integrity and support backend testing activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and test coverage strategies.
- Solid experience in Quality Assurance, with focus on manual and automated testing in web or digital products.
- Knowledge of API testing, integration testing, and acceptance testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools, especially Cypress or similar frameworks.
- Strong understanding of SQL for data validation and backend verification.
- Ability to design structured test cases and maintain clear and detailed documentation.
- Experience working in agile environments and collaborating closely with development teams.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in collaborative, fast-moving teams.
