You will join a highly experienced, remote-first engineering environment focused on delivering reliable, high-quality digital products for large-scale, mission-driven clients. In this role, you will act as a technical leader for quality assurance across multiple projects, ensuring end-to-end test coverage, automation maturity, and predictable delivery outcomes. You will design and evolve robust test automation frameworks while collaborating closely with developers, product teams, and client stakeholders. The role combines deep hands-on technical expertise with strategic oversight of QA practices, standards, and tooling. You will also contribute to mentoring, recruitment, and capability building within QA teams. This is a high-impact position where your work directly influences delivery speed, product stability, and customer confidence.

Accountabilities:

You will be responsible for leading QA strategy and automation excellence across multiple projects, ensuring high standards of quality, predictable delivery, and continuous improvement of testing practices.

  • Define and implement end-to-end QA strategies, ensuring alignment with sprint goals and delivery expectations.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium or Playwright with C#/.NET or Java.
  • Ensure CI/CD integration of automated tests (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps), including parallel execution, reporting, and environment stability.
  • Oversee QA execution across projects, ensuring adherence to best practices, quality standards, and release criteria.
  • Identify risks, eliminate ambiguity in requirements, and define clear testing strategies and contingency plans.
  • Analyze QA metrics and testing outcomes to improve processes, tools, and overall delivery efficiency.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders, providing clear technical communication and delivery updates.
  • Participate in recruiting processes by evaluating QA candidates and contributing to hiring decisions.
  • Mentor and guide QA engineers, fostering technical growth and consistent delivery excellence.
  • Continuously research and introduce modern QA tools, including AI-assisted testing solutions, to improve productivity and coverage.
Requirements:

You should bring strong senior or principal-level QA automation experience, with deep technical expertise in test frameworks, CI/CD, and leadership across complex software delivery environments.

  • 8–11+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation for web and/or mobile applications.
  • Strong expertise in building and maintaining end-to-end automation frameworks using Selenium or Playwright.
  • Solid programming skills in C#/.NET or Java applied to test automation.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
  • Proven ability to design automation frameworks from scratch and scale QA practices across teams.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development/testing tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code).
  • Strong understanding of software testing best practices, SDLC, and agile delivery environments.
  • Experience communicating with clients and translating technical QA concepts into business value.
  • Demonstrated mentoring, coaching, and leadership experience within technical teams.
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to define metrics, improve processes, and drive quality outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote work with location flexibility (based on eligible countries)
  • Competitive compensation and full-time employment stability
  • Paid time off and country-specific public holidays
  • Work-life balance with a standard 40-hour work week
  • Learning and development support (courses, certifications, conferences)
  • Equipment and tools support for remote work
  • Long-term projects with high-impact, mission-driven clients
  • Collaborative, people-first culture with strong autonomy and trust
