This is an immediateopening for an enthusiastic, highly-organizedSr. Structural DesignEngineer professional to assist the team with design and QA/QC work for the Pennsylvaniaregional projects. Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

7+ years in bridge design, with specific experience with Pennsylvanniastate DOT projects.

NBIS bridge inspection and/or load rating experience willalso be considered.

Professional Engineer License

Proficiency with MicroStation. OpenRoads BridgeModeler/OpenBridge is a plus.

PennDOT CBSI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering tasks related to bridge design projects and other transportation-related structural design and analysis projects.
• Design steel, concrete, and/or timber bridge elements, walls, and associated structures.
• Perform structural analyses, develop calculations, and prepare plans in accordance with federal, state, and local agency requirements.
• Prepare quantities, cost estimates, and special provisions.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of calculations, special provisions, and plans prepared by others.
• Manage and maintain project and QA/QC documentation
• May perform site visits and structure inspections from time to time.
• Assist project managers with assignments including schedule and budget updates and proposal preparation
