Location: Atlanta, GA 30336

Pay Rate: $12.00 - $15.00 Hourly

Shift Schedule:

1. Rotating 12-Hour Schedule (3 Days On / 4 Days Off)
2. Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:15 PM
3. Night Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:15 AM

Job Overview:

The Process Technician is responsible for the hands-on operation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of automated blow molding and injection molding equipment. This position ensures production efficiency, product quality, and equipment reliability while following all safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Job Duties:

1. Operate and maintain automated blow molding and injection molding equipment
2. Perform basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments
3. Make mechanical repairs within the designated work area
4. Monitor equipment performance and make necessary setting adjustments
5. Complete preventative maintenance tasks
6. Follow product specifications, material requirements, and customer requests
7. Perform quality control inspections to ensure products meet specifications
8. Enter downtime and scrap information into PICS
9. Maintain proper housekeeping and follow all safety procedures
10. Attend required training sessions and weekly team meetings
11. Follow ISO standards and company policies
12. Report food safety concerns immediately
13. Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

1. Team-oriented with a positive attitude
2. Self-motivated and flexible with job assignments
3. Strong technical and interpersonal skills
4. Willingness to learn through continuous training
5. Associate's Degree in Plastics Technology, Electrical, Electronics, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or a related technical field preferred
6. Relevant manufacturing or technical experience will be considered in place of education

Physical Requirements:

1. Stand and walk continuously throughout the shift
2. Lift up to 40 lbs. regularly and up to 70 lbs. with assistance
3. Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb throughout the workday
4. Frequently use hands for gripping, reaching, handling, pushing, pulling, and operating tools
5. Climb ladders, stairs, platforms, and scaffolding as needed
6. Work around machinery, conveyors, confined spaces, and heights up to 20 feet
