Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 4 years of related experience. An AA Degree or certification in assigned area is preferred if appropriate.

With dedication and precision and stellar communication skills, the Advanced Shipping Associate will preform a combination of manual and clerical shipping duties by processing outgoing shipments. This will include finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, equipment, etc. Basically, you’ll prepare merchandise for shipping, maintain records, and check invoices and bills of lading. You’ll also answer calls and respond to inquiries regarding tracking of product and freight costs and file freight claims, if product is lost or damaged.

What you bring to the table:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 4 years of related experience. An AA Degree or certification in assigned area is preferred if appropriate
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment, including forklift, sky track, and cranes
  • Solid understanding of general and detailed aspects of the shipping process and their practical application to problems/situations
  • Skillful knowledge of shipping activities/processes, including classified materials

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $27.83 - USD $29.85 /Hr.
