Job Description
Purpose of the Role
Oversee the monitoring and analysis of manufacturing costs in an electronics manufacturing environment characterized by complex bills of materials, supporting management in economic decision-making through accurate reporting, variance analysis, and the identification of areas for efficiency improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for production costs, materials, labor, and overhead
Calculate and update standard product costs (standard costing)
Prepare periodic reports on manufacturing KPIs (efficiency, yield, scrap, fixed cost absorption)
Collaborate with production, procurement, logistics, and quality to collect data and validate cost information
Support monthly/quarterly closings with related economic analyses
Identify inefficiencies and propose corrective actions to contain costs
Contribute to business cases and profitability analyses for investments or new orders
Maintain and improve costing models and data flows in the ERP system
Oversee inventory management and valuation processes to ensure accurate cost reporting and financial controls
Perform project cost accounting to track profitability, cost performance, and margin drivers by project or order
Support the implementation and use of work orders for manufacturing to improve cost traceability, production reporting, and operational control
Requirements:Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in economics, accounting, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
At least 2–5 years of experience in management control/cost control roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Excellent knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, analytical models); knowledge of BI systems is a plus
Familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics), particularly controlling modules
Knowledge of the principles of industrial accounting and standard costing
Knowledge of SOX compliance and US GAAP standards
Familiarity with AI use in accounting is a plus
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills for interacting with non-financial departments
Good knowledge of English
