About the RoleWe are hiring a reliable, detail-oriented Construction Material Coordinator to keep our DFW job sites supplied and organized. In this role you will transport materials, tools, and equipment between the yard and active sites, stage them for efficient use, track inventory, and support field crews so projects stay on schedule. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.Key ResponsibilitiesMaterial Handling & Job Site Coordination
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Organize and stage materials for maximum efficiency and accessibility.
- Track material inventory and report shortages or damaged items.
- Move excess material from inside buildings to designated onsite storage trailers.
- Package and prepare return material for transport as directed by the foreman or superintendent.
- Assist with general labor tasks, including site cleanup and debris removal.
- Operate company vehicles (trucks, vans, and trailers) to transport materials and equipment.
- Deliver to job sites on schedule, following assigned routes.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, and maintain delivery logs.
- Coordinate material needs with project managers, foremen, superintendents, and procurement.
- Supply foremen and crew members with the materials and support they need.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used and deliveries made.
- Follow all company policies, job site safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to frequently lift and carry heavy materials (50+ lbs).
- Ability to work outdoors in a range of weather conditions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in construction, warehouse logistics, or material handling.
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
- Forklift experience or certification.
- Regular standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying throughout the shift.
- Active construction environment with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
- Flexible hours required, including overtime as project schedules demand.
