Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide data analysis and oversight assistance on the campus monitoring project.
  • Contribute to the dissemination of research findings through academic publications, presentations, and community outreach.
  • Contribute to and assist on special projects including data analysis and publication.
  • Perform other duties and assist with projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Formal Education:
  • PhD in water resources engineering, civil engineering or a related field.

Work Experience:
  • 1 year experience in civil engineering or a related field.

Work Skills (e.g., written and verbal communication skills):
  • Highly motivated with strong written and oral communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently and communicate proactively

Specific Job Knowledge (e.g.; knowledge of principles and procedures related to field and area):
  • Understand hydrologic and water quality data and analysis techniques
  • Skills working interdisciplinarily.

Equipment Knowledge:
  • Must be comfortable working on a computer
  • Standard office equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
Work Skills (e.g., written and verbal communication skills):
  • Good organizational skills.
Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours:
Tools, machinery and equipment used:
  • Computational modeling; must be comfortable working on a computer.
