Your role:

Under the direction of Project Managers and discipline leads, the CPM Scheduler II develops detailed, accurate Critical Path Method schedules and maintains them throughout the project lifecycle. The role includes project planning, progress measurement, forecasting, and schedule reporting for multidisciplinary engineering, procurement, and construction projects.

  • Develop recovery, acceleration, and mitigation plans when projects experience delays or schedule variances.
  • Interface project schedules with budgets, labor forecasts, staffing plans, and project controls reporting.
  • Facilitate schedule review meetings and communicate schedule status, concerns, and recommendations to project stakeholders.
  • Perform schedule impact analyses for scope changes, change orders, client-directed modifications, and other project impacts.
  • Review contractor and subcontractor baseline schedules, monthly updates, look-ahead schedules, and impact schedule submittals for compliance with project requirements.
  • Maintain milestone trackers, look-ahead schedules, dashboards, schedule narratives, and executive reporting metrics.
  • Support resource planning and staffing forecasts across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Assist project teams in identifying schedule-related risks and developing proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure scheduling practices conform to company standards, contract requirements, and project controls procedures.
  • Provide scheduling guidance, training, and mentorship to project team members on CPM principles and scheduling best practices.
  • Support schedule claim analysis, delay studies, and schedule documentation for dispute resolution when required.
  • Potential for up to 10% for travel to construction job sites or client offices.

Your resume must include:

  • Associate degree or certificate in construction management, engineering technology, project controls, or a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Equivalent combination of education and directly related project scheduling or project controls experience may be considered.
  • Experience developing and maintaining CPM schedules for engineering or construction projects is required.

Hourly Rate: $28.50 – 48.00 per hour. A variety of factors are considered when determining an offer including, but not limited to, market data, geographic location, experience, and specialized skills.

Benefits: Health, dental, vison, life insurance, profit-sharing, 401(k), discretionary bonus program, paid leave, and more!
