Extended Care Attendant - Part Time Overnight (Wed & Thurs) in Old Orchard Beach, Maine at Milestone Recovery

Position Profile: Responsible for the care and well-being of clients who reside at the Extended Care Program.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Follow and fully understand all policies and procedures
• Provide support and oversight to Extended Care clients throughout the shift to include engaging in hourly room checks and engaging in supportive conversations when clients are struggling; must have the ability to be awake and alert for all hours of the shift
• Checking the immediate area around main building at least twice nightly
• Responsible for cleaning staff/visitor bathroom including but not limited to changing trash and mopping floors as well as other light cleaning duties as assigned by supervisor
• Arrange transportation to emergency services when needed
• Respect client confidentiality at all times
• Attend required training programs and scheduled staff meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned

Compensation: Compensation for this hourly position is $20 per hour + applicable shift differentials

Schedule: Overnight shifts are 8:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m.

Differentials: Overnight differential $2.50/hour 11pm-7am. Weekend differential additional $2.50/hour.

Qualifications: A minimum of a High School diploma or GED required. Prior experience related to the human services field preferred with minimum of one year experience working in a residential setting. Prior experience with homeless and substance use disorder population highly preferred. Recovery Coach training preferred.
