Job Description
A Production Lead oversees the production process for specific product lines. They ensure that the product is produced in accordance with all specifications, quality requirements, and in a timely manner to meet delivery schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Organize workers to meet delivery schedule
- Instruct and enforce that work procedures are followed
- Ensure product specifications are met
- Meet quality assurance standards and requirements
- Instruct how to use tools and equipment
- Identify ways to improve quality or speed of production
- Identify ways to reduce costs to build product
- Ensure that higher quantities produced do not compromise quality
- Instruct on the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Monitor safety activities of workers
- Report safety incidents
- Encourage team effort and supportive attitudes between workers
- Updating and maintaining data base and line schedules
- Other cross training or cross team duties, as assigned

Qualifications:
- Prior experience in manufacturing assembly, serving as a lead, or performing other leadership responsibilities (preferred)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and email (preferred)
Job Detail:
- Full time with benefits
- Day shift
- Entry rate $18.50/hr or DOE
Essential Functions:
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (when required)
- Sitting for long periods of time
- Use of upper body, arms, and hands throughout the day
- Lifting 10-20 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
- Bending, stooping, and reaching overhead throughout the day to reach materials to move or pickup
- Normal color vision (due to different colored wires)
- Able to work regularly with epoxy, glues, sealants
