Kendrick Plastics is seeking an experienced Mold Technician to support our injection molding operations. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for mold changes, machine setup, and troubleshooting.
What You'll Do- Complete mold and tool changes on injection molding machines according to schedules and SOPs
- Set up press-side assembly equipment as needed
- Monitor production performance and communicate issues to supervisors
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
- Experience in plastic injection molding required
- Resin Handler experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Crane experience preferred
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to read and follow production schedules and work instructions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to learn all assigned molds and presses
- Ability to safely work around heavy machinery and equipment
- Ability to work in high-temperature manufacturing conditions
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Frequently lift and move 50+ pounds
- Apply up to 75 pounds of force when clamping tools in machines
- Regular bending, stooping, reaching, and standing
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment with temperatures ranging from 90°F to 115°F
