To support our continued growth, were seeking a talented and proactive Senior Technical Business Analystto help drive our mission forward.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business associates to identify end-user requirements and specifications for new application development and enhancements.
  • Work with an outsourced software development team on application development projects.
  • Analyze and test programs and products before formal launch.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform decision-making.
  • Analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
  • Work with business associates to help automate redundant tasks and improve overall company efficiency.
  • Work closely with other teams, including software developers, network engineers, and business stakeholders, to ensure systems meet business needs.
  • Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Lead and manage projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Compile and analyze user feedback to improve the overall utilization of the companys technical tools.
  • Develop and maintain SSRS reports and robotic process automation flows
  • Develop and maintain various SQL scripts and objects that feed SSRS reports and robotic process automation flows.
  • Create documentation for and troubleshoot various data integrations with shippers.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain the companys transportation management system.
  • Ensure systems are compliant with relevant regulations and that security measures are in place.
  • Participate in after-hours / weekend on-call rotation.
  • Limited travel is required after initial training and learning the business (10% or less).
  • In office is preferred.

Examples of tasks:

    • Translating business requirements into technical specifications.
    • Developing and implementing solutions to improve system performance.
    • Troubleshooting complex system issues.
    • Ensuring data integrity and security.
    • Conducting business analysis and recommending technology solutions.
    • Developing and maintaining complex databases.
    • Implementing AI-driven automation to enhance IT operations.

Qualifications

  • The desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be self-managed and able to be an effective team member without having to be micromanaged.
  • Outstanding collaboration and communication skills are essential.
  • Must provide thorough and accurate work on all assigned tasks.
  • At least 5+ years of experience developing and implementing reporting and process automation solutions.
  • 5+ years of SQL experience (T-SQL preferred).
  • 3+ years of Microsoft Power Platform
  • Experience and understanding of data visualization and related concepts.
  • Zendesk, Jira, or similar support ticket and project management applications.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience in the Final Mile / Logistics industry.
  • Experience with Xcelerator or similar TMS / Dispatch software
  • 3+ years coding in C#, Python, or Java

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
