Vice President of Sales- Depositions

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Vice President of Sales – Depositions based in the United States.

This senior leadership role is responsible for driving net-new revenue growth across mid-market and enterprise legal technology customers. You will define and execute sales strategy while building, scaling, and coaching a high-performing sales organization. The role blends strategic vision with hands-on execution, ensuring strong pipeline discipline, predictable forecasting, and consistent achievement of aggressive revenue targets. You will partner closely with cross-functional leaders across marketing, product, finance, and customer-facing teams to align go-to-market execution. This is a high-impact position at the center of commercial growth, where operational rigor meets strategic sales leadership. The environment is fast-paced, data-driven, and focused on building scalable sales systems that support long-term expansion. You will also serve as a key external representative of the organization, strengthening relationships with customers and industry stakeholders.

Accountabilities

Own and drive the overall sales strategy for net-new revenue growth, ensuring consistent performance against ambitious targets across mid-market and enterprise segments. Lead, scale, and develop a high-performing sales organization, including Directors and Account Executives, with a strong focus on coaching, accountability, and talent development.

  • Design and execute scalable sales processes, methodologies, and enablement programs to improve productivity and conversion rates
  • Define territories, quotas, compensation structures, and performance metrics that drive desired sales behaviors
  • Manage pipeline generation, deal progression, forecasting accuracy, and regular sales performance reviews
  • Partner closely with Marketing to align demand generation, messaging, and ideal customer profiles
  • Track and report key revenue metrics including win rates, deal size, sales velocity, and CAC
  • Collaborate across Finance, Product, and Partnerships to ensure alignment on revenue strategy and execution
  • Build executive-level relationships with customers and industry stakeholders to strengthen pipeline and market presence
  • Continuously evaluate and improve sales tools, systems, and processes to increase efficiency and scalability
Requirements

This role requires extensive sales leadership experience within high-growth SaaS or technology environments, with a strong track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets and building scalable, high-performance teams. You bring strong executive presence, analytical rigor, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.

  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience, ideally in SaaS or enterprise software environments
  • Proven success leading teams responsible for net-new revenue growth and quota attainment
  • Strong experience building, coaching, and scaling high-performing sales organizations
  • Deep understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, forecasting, and revenue operations
  • Strong data-driven mindset with experience leveraging analytics to optimize performance
  • Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce and related sales tools
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive-level stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving, high-growth environment
