This position is part of the Mission Support Services (MSS) contract at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), which is a major U.S. Army test and evaluation mission. The role is responsible for managing and maintaining accountability of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Contract Acquired Property (CAP). Core functions include process development and improvement, property management and accountability, database management, compliance reporting while adhering to Department of Defense (DoD), Army standards, and contractual obligations. Required to coordinate inventory schedules and activities with appropriate contractor personnel, property transfers, turn-in appointments, create and maintain Electronic Turn-In Documents (ETIDs), prepare and stage inventory for turn-in through the Supply Support Activity (SSA) and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), and reconciliation activities; maintains accurate records in Global Combat Support System (GCSS-Army), Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), and other property management systems; update property hand receipts; identifies, investigates and resolves discrepancies; and provides detailed status reports. Responsible for preparing pallets and shipments in accordance with DLA palletization requirements, military/commercial packing standards and ensure safe handling.
This position involves time-critical work which requires exceptional organizational, analytical and
communication skills with experience in logistics, the ability to multi-task and adjust to continually
changing priorities, and a commitment to customer service. The Logistics Analyst will report
directly to the Logistics Manager and must be able to work independently with minimal oversight.
