Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (onsite position)
- Shift hours may vary based on the needs of the practice as determined by the Practice Administrator
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
- Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a primary care, internal medicine, or ambulatory care setting.
- Strong assessment, triage, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities.

Support staff hired at a 0.50 FTE or greater on or after April 1, 2024, are eligible for our structured retention bonus program:
- $750 at 6 months
- $750 at 12 months
- $1,000 at 18 months
- $1,000 at 24 months
Paid Maternity/Paternity Leave
After one year of employment and 1,250 hours worked, Eagle provides up to two weeks of paid maternity/paternity leave for the birth or adoption of a child. Leave is prorated based on FTE status.

Key Responsibilities
- Triage incoming patients to determine the priority and severity of conditions.
- Obtain patient health histories and vital signs and accurately document findings in patient charts.
- Perform phlebotomy and in-house laboratory procedures and document results.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions and effectiveness.
- Educate patients regarding illnesses, treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
- Review and communicate laboratory and diagnostic results as directed by providers.
- Ensure laboratory reports are available in patient charts and reviewed appropriately.
- Obtain signed medical releases when indicated.
- Schedule referrals and coordinate specialty appointments as needed.
- Assist with home health coordination, pre-certifications, re-certifications, and insurance authorizations.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain exam rooms, supplies, equipment, and overall clinic cleanliness.
- Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment according to established procedures.
- Safeguard medications, prescription materials, and patient records.
- Dispose of infectious waste according to safety protocols.
- Attend required staff meetings and participate in committees as requested.
- Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations.
