Position Summary: We are looking for a Janitor, or Custodian, to take care of our building and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition.
This is an ideal position for an individual with a disability. Candidates with a disability will be strongly considered!
- Pay Rate: $17.75 per hour
- Shift: Monday - Friday
- Full-time, 4:30pm- 12:00am
- Location: Ft. McCoy, Sparta, WI
Typical Job Duties:
- Responsible for janitorial duties at Fort McCoy
- Cleans, sanitizes, sweeps, mops, vacuums, dusts, restocks, and empties trash.
- Expected to safely operate equipment
- Contributes to teamwork by training and helping co-workers
- Continually performs duties with a special focus on safety, quality and customer service.
Requirements:
- Lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
- Pushing and pulling up to 30 lbs.
- Be 18 years or older.
- Pass criminal background checks and various state/federal registry check.
