Description:

We are looking for a Psychiatric Provider to diagnose and treat psychiatric health conditions and promote good health practices in patient homes, facilities, or group homes.

As a Psychiatric Provider, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of patient care. Your job description includes conducting physical examinations, interpreting lab tests, and overseeing patients' psychiatric health. You will act as both a health practitioner and an educator, supporting disease prevention practices and helping patients lead healthy lives. Previous clinical experience in psychiatric care is preferred.

You will be required to collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, making a team spirit and positive attitude essential. Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and patience are also important. This position offers autonomy, flexibility, and the opportunity to work in a mobile healthcare environment, providing care to patients across Nashville, Tennessee, and the surrounding counties.

Responsibilities:

  • Examine patients and their medical records.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., blood tests, X-rays).
  • Diagnose psychiatric health conditions and illnesses.
  • Propose treatments for psychiatric illnesses.
  • Prescribe medications.
  • Maintain accurate records and schedules.
  • Inform patients about their mental health conditions.
  • Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics, and prevention.
  • Oversee patients' overall mental health.
  • Promote good mental health practices.
  • Advance professional knowledge.

Requirements:

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a clinic, hospital, ER, or other relevant settings
  • Expertise in psychiatric practices and comprehensive knowledge of health and patient care regulations
  • Excellent communication skills and strong professional ethics
  • Team-oriented spirit and positive attitude
  • Willingness to continuously gain knowledge and clinical experience
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license

License/Certification:
