Full Time
East Arkansas Family Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in West Memphis, Arkansas. The LPN works as part of a care team and assists the physicians; provide nursing and counseling skills to patients, and other procedures.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as an integral member of the healthcare team by providing direct patient care, assisting providers with examinations and procedures, educating patients, and supporting the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare patient to be seen by physician, assist in necessary procedures; prepare and administer solutions and medications upon order of physicians.
- Assist with exams and special procedures; irrigate, clean and dress wounds.
- Follow standing orders to initiate and schedule routine and preventative screenings.
- Participate in monthly clinical staff meeting and quality improvement practices as well as participate in daily team huddles and communicate concerns or necessary information to the care team.
- Document patient information in EMR based on Patient Care: General Procedure’s guidelines.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
- Current, unrestricted Arkansas Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one.
- Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Ability to provide patient education and reinforce provider instructions.
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Experience in primary care, family practice, community health, or outpatient clinical settings preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
