Job Description
We are seeking a high-energy, performance-driven Licensed Sales Supervisor (Health/Life) to lead a remote team of Licensed Benefit Advisors. In this role, you will be the driving force behind your team's sales performance, compliance adherence, and operational efficiency, particularly during the high-volume Annual Enrollment Period (AEP).
Unlike administrative managers, this is a sales leadership and coaching role. You will leverage your active insurance license and deep Medicare knowledge to conduct live call monitoring, provide product-specific sales coaching, jump into calls to save sales, and ensure your team meets and exceeds conversion targets while strictly adhering to CMS regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Coaching: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of remote licensed agents to meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales conversion targets through ongoing coaching, performance monitoring, and skill development.
Live Call Support: Monitor live agent calls and utilize your active license to provide real-time guidance on Medicare product selection, objection handling, and closing strategies.
AEP Execution: Drive high-performance execution during the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) by managing productivity, schedule adherence, workforce planning, and agent engagement while maintaining service quality during peak demand.
Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all agents strictly follow CMS guidelines, including Scope of Appointment (SOA) rules, mandatory scripting, and accurate disclosure readings.
Performance Management: Conduct scheduled 1-on-1s, deliver actionable feedback, and execute corrective action plans for agents falling below performance or compliance standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Manager of Insurance Agent Licensing to ensure your team's continuing education and state appointments remain active and compliant.
Reporting & Operational Excellence: Analyze key performance metrics, identify trends, and implement strategies to improve sales results, customer experience, compliance outcomes, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
Licensing: Must possess an active and in good standing Resident Life/Health Insurance License (and be eligible for multi-state non-resident appointments).
Medicare Expertise: Deep understanding of Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D plans.
AHIP Certification: Current AHIP certification is helpful but not required, as you will have the opportunity to obtain it through the training process.
Sales Experience: Minimum of 2 years of direct B2C inside-sales experience in the health/life insurance sector.
Leadership: Minimum of 2 years of experience managing, coaching, and developing high-volume outbound or inbound sales teams, preferably in a remote BPO environment.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating enterprise CRMs, dialer systems, and remote communication tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
