  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the contracting lifecycle, coordinating negotiations and facilitating communication between internal stakeholders, customers, vendors, and external advisors when necessary.
  • Provide guidance on contract interpretation, compliance requirements, risk management considerations, and contractual obligations.
  • Partner closely with business teams to understand operational goals and support commercial initiatives through practical legal solutions.
  • Maintain accurate contract records, documentation, and reporting to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of contracting processes, templates, and best practices to improve scalability and consistency.
  • Support onboarding and training efforts for team members while participating in special legal, compliance, and business projects as needed.
  • Manage multiple priorities and contract negotiations simultaneously while ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Paralegal Studies, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • 8–12 years of experience in contract management, commercial negotiations, legal operations, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating and managing SaaS agreements and other complex commercial transactions.
  • Prior experience working within technology, software, life sciences, pharmaceutical, contract research, or similarly regulated industries is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of contract drafting, legal terminology, risk assessment, and commercial negotiation strategies.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations, information security requirements, HIPAA, or related compliance frameworks is advantageous.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree is considered a plus but is not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to produce precise, high-quality documentation.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally, manage competing priorities, and work independently while exercising sound judgment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and contract management or CRM platforms, including Salesforce.
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $90,367 to $128,020, depending on experience, skills, and location.
  • Eligibility for performance-based bonus opportunities.
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage and benefits package.
  • Fully remote work opportunity within the United States.
  • Paid holidays and generous time-off offerings.
  • Exposure to meaningful work that supports innovation and advancement in healthcare and clinical research.
  • Collaborative, inclusive, and mission-driven work environment.
  • Professional development and career growth opportunities.
