  • Lead and mentor internal finance teams, including FP&A analysts, controllers, and accountants, ensuring high-quality delivery across client engagements.
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and adoption of modern FP&A and AI-enabled financial tools to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Support business development efforts by contributing to client expansion opportunities and cross-functional service offerings.
  • Ensure high-quality execution across all client engagements while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
  • 20+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including senior CFO or equivalent leadership roles.
  • Proven experience supporting CPG and/or technology companies, particularly in scaling, startup, or high-growth environments.
  • Strong expertise in CPG financial drivers including inventory, trade spend, e-commerce, wholesale, and retail models.
  • Experience working with VC- and PE-backed companies, including fundraising, investor relations, and board-level reporting.
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, GAAP compliance, KPI development, and performance analytics.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing finance and accounting teams.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and ability to manage multiple client priorities in parallel.
  • Familiarity with modern finance tools and AI-enabled platforms (e.g., FP&A systems, automation tools, ChatGPT/Copilot-type solutions) is a plus.
