We are looking for a part-time Payroll Tax Assistant to join our team! This position could become full time in the future,
Position Summary
The Payroll Tax Assistant will play a key role in ensuring tax compliance, accurate tax reporting, and other miscellaneous applications.This is a part time position that could become full time in the future.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Submitting tax apps
Processing withholding returns and maintaining tax accounts (closures, address updates, etc.)
Miscellaneous billing tasks
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Strong ability to analyze and interpret complex tax regulations and apply them to payroll processes.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
· Keen eye for identifying discrepancies and ensuring accuracy in all tax-related tasks.
· Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
Education and Experience:
· High School Diploma
· Accounting background preferred, payroll tax background a plus

· This is an office-based position. Occasional remote work may be approved for special circumstances with advance manager approval.

· Typically performed in an office setting with standard office equipment.
· Requires focus and adaptability in a dynamic and occasionally high-pressure setting.
